From Mr Blobby to Bob the Builder it used to be part of the Christmas tradition that you got a naff number one. Well not always naff, but all and sundry came and had a go.

X-Factor has taken all the fun out of it now, we know months in advance what it will be, much to the bookies dismay I'm guessing 'cos they'll lose out big time.

Anyway, boo hiss boo! to reality TV tunes.

Lots of folk I know seem to be backing this Terry Wogan / Aled Jones effort. No comment on it form me, 'cos I've not heard it yet.

I've always hated christmas number ones! It's bad enough walking into a shop with them playing lame christmas songs! Time to stock up the iPod with more music to escape it I think
