saw Paul last night met up with Poppy (yup she managed to find the venue) really enjoyed the gig never got to see the Beautiful South so wasnt quite sure what he'd be like but he was really good. the support act was really good too a young female singer by the name of Duffy (http://www.myspace.co.uk/duffymyspace). i recognised her bass player and one of her guitarists as they play for Lucie Silvas go check Duffy out she came accross as really shy but when she sang my god she sang!

anyway great night really enjoyed it great to meet poppy hope to see paul again i have pics but as i'll be offline after tonight i think i'll post them next week when i'm back online

Duffy was on Jools Holland on Friday but I was out of the country - in Holland! - so didn't get to see it. Not sure if it is/has been repeated. She was amazing.

I will definitely try and see her in her own right. Not many support artists get that "honour" from me!

Paul Heaton was great too - on a par with the Oxford gig the week before.

Why oh why couldn't Paul wait until pay day before announcing more dates
