Would any of my fellow Keane fans on here like to go to this gig for FREE in my place?

The downside is that Keane are only going to be playing for about 30 minutes at the end of the evening (although there will be some collaborations with some of the multitude of other artists, including Pet Shop Boys, Magic Numbers, Guillemots, Lily Allen, Findlay Brown, "Uncle Tom Cobbleigh" and all etc etc, appearing on the night).
I booked for this gig thinking I'd get a full hour (if not more) of Keane. I really don't think I can be bothered with all the hassle involved if I'm only going to get a half hour set.

If anyone wants my ticket (which should arrive in the next couple of days) please just PM or email me. First come first served.

The only condition is that you have to be registered on here and also attending a gig on the imminent Mesh-29 tour!

I reserve the right to delete this thread and dispose of the ticket elsewhere if there isn't a 'taker' by 6pm next Sunday, Sunday 21st October.

That's very generous of you, Martin. I hope someone snaps it up! :)

The ticket is now "spoken for" (by someone very well known to those who have posted in this thread - and who has also helped the band in the recent past). A good outcome I think.

That was a gig and a half. :D :D :D

Despite standing behind really tall men  I had a brilliant evening.

Highlights for me were the Guillemots and Brendan Benson (who played with three guys he found busking in the tube  )

Lily Allen was so sweet and forgot the words to her own song ! But she sang with Keane before they went on to blast the next half hour by themselves.

Could have done without the Pet Shop Boys - sound not so good, and they sang a new song no-one knew :?

And I got my programme signed by Tim and Richard.
Well worth the wait.

a fine evening - shall be taping the highlights tonight 8)
