I could do to update my camera an' all. It's a couple of years old now and, yeah it takes good clear photos but not so good without a flash. So at gigs I end up resorting to video clips, rather than flashing during songs. (Camera! Camera! Before many comments start turning up!) The video clips aren't much better 'cos I think I've blown the speaker on it with being at so many loud places!
I'm the same school as you though, thinking is it worth me paying out X amount of pound for something really technological and only using it for snaps?
Thinking is overrated!
